General
GoodaFood lets you discover, share and save food recipes. Browse thousands of recipes on the web or in our iOS / Android app, add your own and interact with the community.
Yes, GoodaFood is completely free. All core features are open to everyone. Even if premium options are added later, core functionality will always be free.
The site runs in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). We also have native iOS and Android apps available on the App Store and Google Play.
Account & Profile
Click "Sign Up" at the top right. Enter your name, username, email and password, then verify your account with the 6-digit code sent to your email.
Click "Forgot Password" on the sign-in page. Enter your email and we'll send you a password reset link.
Open your profile page and click "Edit Profile" to change your name, bio and avatar. Don't forget to save.
Open Profile > Social Media and add links for Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter) and other platforms. They'll show up on your public profile.
Recipes
Click "Add Recipe" in the top navigation. Fill in title, ingredients, steps, images and categories. After editor approval it goes live.
Use the search box in the top nav. Type a recipe name, an ingredient or a category. Refine results with filters like time, difficulty and cuisine.
Click the heart icon on the recipe card or detail page. Favorites show up on the "My Favorites" page.
A recipe book is a thematic collection of recipes you love. A menu is an ordered list of dishes for a specific meal or event. Group multiple menus into a "Menu Set".
Technical Issues
Try a hard reload (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) to clear the browser cache. If the problem persists, try a different browser or use the iOS / Android app.
Check your internet connection. When adding a recipe, make sure your images are within size (max 10MB) and format (JPG / PNG / WebP) limits.
Close some browser tabs and try again. If the issue continues, please let us know via the Contact page.
Privacy & Security
All data is transmitted over TLS (SSL) encryption. We follow KVKK and GDPR principles. Your personal information is never shared with third parties without consent.
Send us a request via the Contact page. Under KVKK / GDPR we'll process the request and permanently delete your data.
