Mix the chicken drumsticks with yogurt, tomato paste, crushed garlic, and spices in a bowl. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Thinly slice the potatoes. Toss with olive oil and your choice of spices.
Arrange the sliced potatoes evenly on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the marinated chicken drumsticks on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 45–60 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown.
Serve hot straight from the oven.
