Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Add the flour and salt and stir until smooth. Pour in the milk gradually while whisking, then mix in the melted butter.
Warm a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Lightly coat it with a thin film of butter.
Pour in a small ladle of batter and swirl the pan to spread it into a thin layer. When the edges look set and the bottom is lightly golden, flip and cook the other side briefly.
Continue with the remaining batter, adding just a touch of butter as needed. Serve warm with sweet toppings (jam, honey) or savory fillings (cheese, greens).
