Add the brewed coffee, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, garlic, molasses, mustard powder, Worcestershire, cumin, and chili powder to a medium saucepan.
Set over medium heat and stir until the sugar fully dissolves and the sauce is steaming with small bubbles around the edges.
Reduce to low and simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring now and then. Stir more often near the end so the bottom doesn’t scorch.
When it coats the back of a spoon, remove from the heat. Let it sit for 10 minutes; it will thicken slightly as it cools.
Brush on meat, chicken, or vegetables as a sauce or glaze. Store leftovers in a clean jar in the fridge and stir before using.
